We continue to celebrate! On Nov. 2nd, we held a second (the first, in London) vertical tasting of our Fatalone Riserva in New York City to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of our brand, Fatalone Organic Wines. The event was held at Astor Center and was by invitation only. This event was also made possible with the help of Alice Feiring and our importers in New York. Ms. Feiring is an award-winning wine writer specializing in natural wines and editor of The Fiering Line, “The Natural Wine Newsletter”.
In a masterclass-style presentation, Pasquale Petrera, Fatalone’s own 5th generation winemaker, poured 15 vintages of our Fatalone Gioia del Colle DOC Primitivo Riserva dating back to 1988. The tasting panel included local and international press, sommeliers and trade. Some of our invitees were: Alice Feiring of “The Fiering Line”, Jim Sligh of “Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels”, Oscar Wolf of “Chambers St Wines”, Mike Colameco of “Real Food, PBS”, Tara Thomas of “Wine & Spirits Magazine”, Levi Dalton of “I’ll Drink To That Podcast”, Catherine Todd of “Dame Wine” and Lorena Ascencios of “Astor Wines”.
